They act as Facilitators, Guides, Mentors and Confidantes to direct each group through the program, leading workshops, providing experience, counsel, feedback and asking the tough questions that are going to drive development.

Chris Baddock

Chris has over 30 years of experience in FMCG including Lion and Woolworths. Before joining Metcash in 2019 Chris was Director of Pinnacle Drinks, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Woolworths owned Endeavour Drinks Group. Endeavour was Chris’s first step into retail with Pinnacle being a portfolio of businesses including, owner of the Endeavour Private Label portfolio, Vinpack, Dorrien & Isabel wineries, Cellarmasters & NZ Wine Society direct to consumer retail as well as building an export business into Europe and China. Before retail Chris spent 11 years at Lion covering several roles including National Customer Director, Lion Beer and Managing Director, Fine Wine Partners


Chris is a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management, Australia Institute of Company Directors, and is an accredited Human Synergistics (LSI) coach.


Today Chris is the CEO of Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM), fully owned by the Top 100 ASX listed Metcash. ALM is Australia and New Zealand’s largest Liquor wholesaler and Banner Group owner with over 12,000 retail and On Premise liquor customers. ALM own the well known retail brands such as IGA, Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O and Porters Liquor which are managed by close to 3,000 independent retailers. Additionally Chris sits on the Board of Retail Drinks Australia, Liquor Alliance (Thirsty Camel) and is a Council Member of Australian Beverages Association and has held position on JV and public boards.


Chris has built his career around a simple philosophy that constructive behaviours are a critical factor in long term sustainable results.

Ian is a uniquely commercial Senior Culture and Strategy Executive and organisational psychologist with over 30 years experience within the fields of HR, strategy, sales and marketing.

Ian has been an HR or Commercial Director in several notable Blue-chip Companies such as Lion Nathan, Sara Lee, Arnott’s, Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths and George Weston Foods. He has worked in over 42 countries.



Ian has extensive experience in facilitation of large change and culture initiatives and of lifting leadership capability. He has a particular interest in introducing tech-enabled HR productivity uplifts.



He runs Cormack Consulting, a human capital consultancy with expertise in change management, leadership development, executive coaching, team effectiveness interventions and organisational design and strategy.
